How can I keep rodents out of my patio garden?
Thursday, August 30th, 2007Jensenfan asked:
I live on the third floor of an apartment building and something keeps eating my pumpkin plants. I have tried spraying the plants with pepper, but they just dig up the plants and eat the roots. I tried fencing the planters with plastic garden wire, but they chewed through and at the plants. The planters are too big to bring in the house every night; any suggestions?

What would be some good activities to include at a garden party?

I am planning a graduation garden party. It will be outside between 4 and 7 PM. It will be girls only. The youngest will be ten, but most of the people will be in their upper teens with a few mothers. It is going to be an elegant affair, with everyone dressed up.

Tuesday, August 21st, 2007How do I keep my radish and squash garden staying moist?

Ok, I grew a radish in my front yard garden and the leaves are already there. Its been about 4-5 days since I planted it, so I’m really happy about that. But in the back yard garden is where I planted all the other radishes and squashes( which are sepperated.) is always dry so I have to water them every single day and that takes alot of time doing that because its a big garden. I tried the sprinkler but the garden is behind a tree so it hardly gets wet!!! Is there a way I can keep it moist without me watering it everyday?
