I am going to be growing a garden this spring and i would like to know how i can keep squirels and other little animals from messing it up and steeling all my vegatables. I would like to keep them away in a way that does not harm them. Any suggestions?

We have really bad drainage in the garden so its not draining away quickly. Can anyone suggest an inexpensive way to cover/protect the garden from the rain which would allow me to continue working in the garden at the same time?

My garden is 5m wide by 9m long (if that makes any difference?) I was going to nail polythene to the fences to cover the garden but i thought that might rip and blow away in the wind?! Any other ideas are most welcome! Thanks
Im redesigning the garden ie, building walls, changing levels etc, so it has to be something that will allow me to do this without the ground getting wet - like a gazebo or something.

Now I put out bread every day and get the most adorable little birds, I’d love to do more (am a sucker for animals) so is there anything else? Do I have to wait till winter for balls of seeds?

I’m giving up hope of ever having a beautiful garden …it seems several cats and dogs in the neighbourhood use my garden as their personal tiolet / litter tray …it drives me nuts ..I don’t even own a pet , yet I have to clean up the mess they leave in my garden almost daily …I’ve used a product called Repell but it dosent work…….HELP …I’m running out of ideas …I would like to enjoy my garden this summer …thanks for your help with any suggestons.

Just put plants and fish in my tank last night. Came home from work today my trickler got clogged up with dirt from my plants and somehow my water was dripping out. It wasn’t empty when I got home today but the water level was low. And guess what? I killed 2 tad poles and 2 fish. Maybe I should just stick to plants I can keep them alive. Then I don’t have to be responsible for anything elses death. Wish I could post a pix here, there is one on my 360 page if you want to see what I am working with.
